A wobbly monoline font with blob ends and a ringed O, for museum posters, packaging and handmade brands.

Fossilcraft has the look of letters pressed into soft clay with a finger. Strokes are monoline but never quite straight, every end swells into a rounded blob, and the capital O is drawn as concentric rings, like a cut through an ammonite or the growth rings of a tree. That one letter does a lot of work on the cover and in the Night of Fossils poster.

Everything else stays friendly and easy to read. On the specimen cards it labels an Amber Honey jar, a Clay Tea box, a coffee cup, business cards and a field notes letterhead, so it holds up from shelf labels to a big exhibition title. Museum and science events, kids' workshops, ceramic studios, tea and honey packaging, tees, totes and stickers fit its tone.

There are 94 glyphs for English: A to Z, a to z, figures 0 to 9, punctuation, brackets, guillemets, curly quotes, dashes and an ellipsis. Currency signs, percent, ampersand, at and hash are not included, and there are no alternates or ligatures. One Regular weight.
