How does Unicode strikethrough work?
A combining character (U+0336) is added after every letter, and platforms render it as a line through the text.
Where does strikethrough work?
Almost everywhere: X, Instagram, WhatsApp, Telegram, YouTube. Some older systems may show marks separately.
Is there a keyboard shortcut instead?
Some apps have native strike (Discord: ~~text~~). For everything else, use this generator.
