Velvet Drape is a monoline script written with one even stroke from start to finish, with no thick and thin swell. Capitals carry loose loops on the V, D and P, while the lowercase leans slightly and many letters stand apart instead of joining. That single steady line is why it looks right as a glowing neon tube.
Use it for the night side of a brand. Cocktail bar menus, lounge signage, arcade and game screens, event tickets, invitations and Valentine cards all fit. The cards here show it as a neon sign on a stage, an Insert Coin screen, a high score table and an Admit One ticket. Glow effects are added in layout. It holds up in short lines and names, and long paragraphs get tiring.
There are 94 glyphs: A to Z, a to z, 0 to 9, punctuation, guillemets and dashes. Language support is English in the Latin script. One Regular weight. Files come as OTF, TTF, WOFF and WOFF2.
