Chrome Extension

Coming soon · Private beta

Generate a font family without leaving the page you're on. The YoFont Chrome extension is currently in private beta — join the waitlist below to get early access.

// What it does

The same engine, one click from your toolbar

Every font YoFont generates — letters, digits, punctuation and more than 18 scripts — comes out of one engine, whether the request starts on yofont.com, through the public API, or, soon, from the Chrome toolbar. The extension will let you select text on any page or draw a screenshot region, add a short style description, and send that straight into the same POST /api/public/generate flow that already powers the Studio — no copying anything into a separate tab.

// Planned capabilities

Built for working in the browser

Generate from any page

Highlight text on any site, describe the style you want, and send it to the same prompt-driven generation used on yofont.com — no new tab required.

Screenshot to font

Capture a screenshot region of a design you like and match its letterforms, using the same reference-image generation already available in the public API.

One click, no dashboard

The finished font family downloads straight from the toolbar — no need to sign in to a dashboard or leave the page you're working on.

// How it will work

From selection to font family

Select or capture

Highlight some text on the page, or draw a screenshot region around a design you like.

Describe the style

Add a short prompt describing the mood, era or feel you want the font to match.

YoFont generates the family

The request goes to the same generation engine behind yofont.com and the public API — letters, digits, punctuation and 18+ scripts.

Download and use

The finished font family downloads directly, ready to install or drop into your project.
