A heavy stencil display face with dot counters and round bowls for wordmarks, posters, packaging and big numbers.
Dial Grid is a heavy geometric display face built from round bowls, flat bars and stencil bridges. Some counters hold a single solid dot, like a knob on a control panel. The look is retro-futuristic, and the cards run with it: gauges, a running app, field kit tins and an orange needle that keeps turning up.
Each letter carries its own detail. A has a dot over a bar, B has twin dots, M drips, N holds an eye, S curls into a spiral and Z gets an eye with a bar. No alternates. No ligatures. The detail is drawn into the default letters and shows up the moment you type, so set it on logos and wordmarks, posters, packaging, app and game titles, scoreboards and big stat numbers. Default spacing is tight, and around 250 px a tracking of +30 lets the pairs breathe.
The set is short. It has 62 glyphs: A to Z, a to z and stencil-cut figures 0 to 9, basic Latin for English with no accents. There is no punctuation and there are no currency signs, so commas, periods and symbols come from a pair font such as a plain grotesk. One Regular style, delivered as OTF, TTF, WOFF and WOFF2.
