Reed-row rhythm and bog-soaked edges for field guides and nature zines
Mire Reed is a display typeface built from the rhythm of reed rows, with soft, damp edges that look like letters left standing in a marsh. It suits field guides, nature zines, album covers, packaging for teas and herbal goods, posters and book jackets that need a misty wetland mood.
Use it large. Headlines, titles, labels and short phrases show the character best; for long text, pair it with a quiet serif or sans.
What's included: 94 glyphs in a single regular style, covering uppercase and lowercase Latin letters, numerals and common punctuation. English and basic Latin only. Formats: OTF, TTF, WOFF and WOFF2, so it works on desktop, on the web and in apps and ebooks, depending on the licence you choose.
