Maison Hairline is drawn with strokes that swing from solid stems to lines barely wider than a thread. The lowercase a ends in a teardrop terminal, and its bowl is a single hairline curve that does not break even at 72 px. Elegant, but not timid.
The cards set it in cream, brass and hot pink on dark teal, and the uses are clear: a fashion magazine opener, an exhibition poster, a scented candle label in foil, a swing tag, a business card for an atelier. Caps look best from about 180 px. At that scale the thick and thin parts of the L, O, U and D separate cleanly and the word takes over the page, while a plain mono or sans can carry captions and dates underneath it.
The set has 84 glyphs for English: A to Z, a to z, and punctuation with brackets, straight and curly quotes, guillemets and dashes. There are no figures in this font, so pair it with another face for prices and dates. One Regular weight, shipped as OTF, TTF, WOFF and WOFF2.
