A wide monoline sans with rounded corners for logos, packaging, app screens and friendly headlines.
Stave Leaf is a wide sans with one line weight and rounded corners on every turn. The curves are squared off, closer to a rounded rectangle than a circle, which gives the letters a friendly and slightly technical look. The cards build a running joke around it: five staff lines with green leaves where the musical notes should be, on tea tins, a website and a nature sound app.
Some letters have their own idea. The capital E is round-backed, like a 3 turned around. The lowercase a is single-storey, and the y ends in a short flat tail. On the cards it holds from 260 px headlines down to 26 px captions, so it handles headings, buttons, menu items and short labels as well as logos, packaging and posters. One style covers all of it.
There are 94 glyphs in a single Regular style: A to Z, a to z, figures 0 to 9 and basic punctuation with guillemets, curly quotes, brackets, question and exclamation marks. Latin, for English. Files ship as OTF, TTF, WOFF and WOFF2 for print and web.
Desktop, Web, ePub and App licences are sold separately on this page. Pick them by where the type will appear.
