// About this font

A slanted formal script with sharp hairlines and looped capitals, for fair posters, stall signs and equestrian brands

Hoofcraft Stable sets words in a slanted formal script, with heavy downstrokes and hairline upstrokes. Look at the H, S and B. Their capitals open with loops and curled entry strokes, and most lowercase letters stand apart instead of joining into one line, so a word stays readable even with the wide letterspacing used on the cards.

The cards put it on a county fair poster in red and gold, the alphabet painted on a green stall door marked Stall No. 7, a first place rosette with Best in Show, numbered stall tags and a sunburst badge reading Gallop. Headline size suits it best. There the contrast between heavy shades and thin strokes is easy to see. Use it for short names, titles and labels on leather goods, feed bags or event tickets, and keep long body text in another face.

There are 94 glyphs for English: both alphabets, italic figures 0 to 9 and punctuation. One Regular weight, in OTF, TTF, WOFF and WOFF2.

Desktop, Web, ePub and App licences are sold separately on this page. One payment each, and the licence never expires.
