// About this font

Flowing handwritten Hangul with gecko-crest curves for brand marks, packaging and merch.

Mabem Gecko is a handwritten Hangul script built around the curled, crested lines of a gecko. Strokes swing and taper like a tail, so even a short word reads as a drawn mark rather than typed text.

The letterforms are loose and connected in rhythm, with long curves and uneven pressure. That suits big sizes: logos, shop signs, label names, a title on a poster. At body size the curls crowd each other, so keep it to headlines and short lines and pair it with a plain sans for anything longer.

The family has one regular style and 50 glyphs, covering Korean Hangul. Files come as OTF, TTF, WOFF and WOFF2, so the same font works in print, on a website and in an app.

It was drawn with premium reptile brands in mind, but the same looseness works for cosmetics, tea, boutique cafes and merch. Desktop, Web, ePub and App licenses are sold separately on this page.
