A geometric sans with a fine inline cut through every stroke, for hotel logos, perfume labels and theatre posters.
Bursalumen is a geometric sans with a thin inline running down the middle of each stroke, so every letter reads as two parallel lines. The bowls are nearly round, the capitals are wide and calm, and the lowercase a is single-storey. That mix gives it the feel of 1930s hotel signage and brass lettering on a lobby wall.
Set it in capitals. Hotel logos, perfume packaging, letterheads, business cards and opera posters are the jobs shown on the cards here, and gala invitations or restaurant menus belong to the same family. Our pairing card sets headlines in Bursalumen from 96 px up and leaves body copy to a plain sans. Small sizes blur the inline, so keep it big.
The file holds 94 glyphs: A to Z, a to z, figures 0 to 9 and punctuation, including guillemets and curly quotes. It covers English in the Latin script. One Regular weight, delivered as OTF, TTF, WOFF and WOFF2.
