Light linework handwriting inspired by birdsong, for nature labels, posters and casual branding.
Wing Call is a handwritten display font built from thin, quick strokes. The idea came from birdsong: short notes, light touch, a little playfulness. Letters look sketched in one pass with a fine pen, so the lines stay open and the page keeps its air.
It works best large. On a poster, a seed packet or a shop sign the linework has room to breathe, and the handmade wobble reads as character instead of noise. Bird guides, botanical and ornithology labels, garden stalls, bakery bags and small-batch branding all suit it. At very small sizes the hairline strokes thin out, so keep body copy and fine print in a plain text face and let Wing Call carry the headline.
The font has 94 glyphs covering English Latin: upper and lowercase letters, figures and common punctuation. There is one regular style, no extra weights. Files come as OTF, TTF, WOFF and WOFF2, so the same purchase set-up works for print, web and apps once the right license is chosen.
Desktop, Web, ePub and App licenses are sold separately on this page. Pick the one that matches where the font will run.
