A tidy Old English blackletter with sharp broken strokes, styled with planets and orbits for posters, covers and merch
Nebula Orbit is a blackletter in the Old English tradition, with the space age laid on top. Strokes break into straight segments, verticals are heavy and the feet end in small diamond points. Gothic, but tidy. Set in cream and red on black, next to planets and orbit lines, the letters stop looking medieval and start looking like the title of a sci-fi paperback or a band record.
The capitals carry thin hairline flicks, while the lowercase stays compact and dense, which keeps short words readable on a poster or a T-shirt. Good places for it: band logos, gig posters, album and book covers, beer and spirits labels, streetwear prints and tattoo-style lettering.
Inside are 94 glyphs in one Regular weight. That covers capitals, lowercase, the digits 0 to 9 and punctuation including the comma, colon, question mark, hyphen and brackets for English text. OTF and TTF work in desktop apps, WOFF and WOFF2 on the web.
Desktop, Web, ePub and App licences are sold separately on this page.
